Mercian Events Conference and Events services evolved in the 60’s and 70’s as a result of providing AV equipment hire to companies, hotels and venues for clients to use themselves. As demands became more acute and presentations more professional we were often asked to remain with the AV equipment and operate as required by our client. This led to providing staging, conference sets, lighting, lecterns, large projection screens and in time preparing PowerPoint multi-media presentations for clients to use.
What we have today is an events team skilled at working with clients, understanding their objectives at an early stage in the delivery of an event, designing a creative conference set, working to an agreed budget, providing the latest AV presentation equipment, lighting, staging, sound and a host of specialised and complimentary conference services essential to a successful conference such as pre-event and post-event video production, delegate aids including apps and voting systems.
